Plunging into rehearsals, this documentary chronicles the resilience of a singular cast of characters that want nothing more than to go out with a bang.

This April, our book club will read The Widows of Malabar Hill by Sujata Massey. Inspired in part by the woman who made history as India's first female attorney, The Widows of Malabar Hill is a richly wrought story of multicultural 1920s Bombay. Perveen Mistry, Bombay's only female lawyer, is investigating a suspicious will on behalf of three Muslim widows when the case takes a turn toward the murderous.
